Superlicense is powering into its fifth year of Formula One news, podcasts and community interaction.
We've come a long way since we started in 2013. It's an exciting time for the website and podcast, which continue to grow and bring new F1 fans into our unique little bubble.
To continue doing that, we needed a sexy logo. One that immediately signals that we are all about F1, while keeping things simple and inclusive.
We love our old logo. It's become instantly recognisable as our podcast artwork. It adorns tshirts and stickers. We even have a framed print of it that's signed by Dan Ricciardo himself! (Thanks, Steph ;p)
Leaving it behind isn't easy. But it was time for something fresh, more identifiable, and more adaptable to make sure it looks great anywhere we need to use it, and at any size.
Wait a sec, didn't you guys ridicule F1's recent rebranding? Why yes, yes we did.
Compared to the polarising logo the FIA came up with, we've kept ours clear and simple. It looks like the thing it's meant to be. We even saved a few hundred thousand dollars by backing ourselves and producing it in-house.
Keep an eye out for more improvements as we fluff the pillows around Superlicense HQ.
