41. Abu Dhabi (The definitely not breaking up show)

*** Details of the Superlicense Melbourne meet-up are on the Facebook page ***

Well we did it. We know who won, the high is wearing off but that doesn't mean we can't have a little fun talking about the race, and contest that never was and touch on the Formula E, a Fame and Fortune SuperQuiz and some of the best audio predictions you will ever (yeah, EVER) hear!

You won't want to miss this one AND we still have a season review episode to come - good times.

40. Brazil GP (A bit of horse-arsery)

Oh man, we've reached episode 40 which explains those aches and pains!

This week we'll deconstruct the Brazilian GP, Rod tests Zach's knowledge of championships this went down to the wire, F1 dreams gets a run and we use up all the of the champagne.

*** Superlicense meet-up drinks will be planned before Zach takes off for the UK, so stay tuned if you live in the greater Melbourne area! ***

38. Russian GP (And other adjacent jokes)

in Soviet Russia podcast listens to you.... WELCOME back to the Superlicense F1 Podcast after a slight delay. With a return to "normal" we discuss F1 news headlines from the last three weeks or so, recap the race and this week's quiz tests what you know about F1 slang terms.

It's a little longer due to F1 Dreams, and just generally we felt we owed a little more to the community so lean back or set that treadmill to "extreme" and enjoy!

37. Japanese GP (#ForzaJules)

With Jules Bianchi in our hearts, Rod and Zach discuss a very difficult week for F1 in a slightly different incarnation of the Superlicense F1 Podcast.

While we await (hopefully positive) news regarding Jules following his horrific crash, we discuss the race, preview the Russian Grand Prix in Sochi and feature a chat with F1 journalist Kate Walker via dodgy hotel WiFi (starts around the 31 min mark and seriously, the audio quality starts off poor then gets much better). Hopefully it'll get you back in the mood for Formula One because Sochi will be here before you know it.

36. Singapore GP (Handy on a Luge)

Zach and Rod make a triumphant return from their week in Singapore to rip through all the news, happenings and good vibes from the Singapore Grand Prix. It wouldn't be an episode of Superlicense if it didn't go far longer than necessary, but to be fair we also touched on the inaugural Formula E race, a listener F1 dream and much more.

35. Italian GP (Monza is a Flat Circle)

M-M-M-M-Monza! I'm pretty sure if there's one place in the entire world that a pretty lady could get away with actual murder it's the Italian GP. Rod and Zach discuss the race, breakdown all the news that fit to print, Zach excels in the "Were They Teammates?" SuperQuiz and we reference far too many non-F1 things to mention here.

34. Belgian GP (Orange is the new JEV)

Well, the summer break is well and truly over and if you thought some time away was going to allow the drivers to cool off you've got another thing coming my friend! We decompress the race for probably far too long, unleash the Superlicense Predictions Podium, Zach slaps Rod with a Spa Francorchamps quiz and there's many references to Bane for some reason. Enjoy!

33. Summer Break (Groin Roids)

We are smack-bang in the middle of the summer break, so it must have been a short show this week, right? Nope. I'm blaming the very fact that we had no race for letting us get so wildly off track. We still manage to cover F1 news, Formula E news, offer up some of the internet's best F1 dreams and we launch our exclusive interview with Nathan from Beer Mogul games creator of Formula Legend, and if you haven't heard of it... you have now.

All that and a little bit more in this week's Summer Break episode of the Superlicense F1 Podcast.

32. Hungarian GP (Halt and Fall Before it Exists)

Ahhhhhhhhhh, it's the last race before the summer break - we rip into the controversial Hungarian Grand Prix, Zach gives us a quiz about food and food adjacent food-like things, we finally get to break some news on the podcast (although, with a 24 hour delay between recording and getting the episode edited and released it's not new anymore... shhhhh, you never heard anything) and we sizzle our Summer Break Episode!

SPRING BREAAAAKKKK, yeah!

31. German GP (Formula Four-dollar Fruity Lexia)

Yes, welcome back to the Superlicense F1 Podcast for another week! Bit of a long show but we had so much to get through, and wasn't there just so much win in the air. If the race wasn't good enough, we have a momentous occurrence in the predictions, a fantrabulous Google-based quiz and the return on the fan-favourite F1 DREAMS!

Not only does Zach tell us what F1 related happenings inhabit his brain while he's sleeping, we want you to tell us about your F1 dream. Email superlicensepodcast@gmail.com, write the text or send us audio if you like and we'll collate them for the upcoming season break show.

Thanks for listening once again, enjoy the show!

30. British GP (Child's face, full man's body)

Holy wow, we made it to Silverstone the land of the free and the home of the brave (literally). We talk about the race, but you probably could have guessed that, Zach throws down a Formula E quiz (don't forget, we will probably cover the FE races later in the year) and Rod teases a new interaction opportunity - TELL US YOUR F1 DREAMS! Have you dreamt that you were lined up at the Supermarket next to Jenson Button? Were you ever racing an F1 car, only to fly off the track and land on the oval of your primary school while dressed as Spiderman? We want you to email us text or audio of your F1 dream and we'll pick our favourites for the upcoming season break episode.

29. Austrian GP "(Doing for the in brackets) Kids"

We made it to the beautiful rolling countryside of Austria. Rosberg took the victory and while Austria isn't his home country, Germany is really just Austria with a hipster neck beard. After revisiting this setting from yesteryear Rod looks to other former kings of the calendar in another instalment of the SuperQuiz, we talk racing (a bit) and let the conversation stray away from Formula 1 (a lot) as well as making a plan on the fly for our possible Formula E coverage. Enjoy!

10295356_1486138318288408_8513444448418665385_o.png

Canada eh? Just kidding, we were ecstatic that Daniel Ricciardo took his maiden race victory in Montreal this weekend. It might not sound like it because we were pretty zapped, but I can assure you our hearts were lifted.

You can tell from the response of the crowd that it was a popular victory, even the old grinch Vettel was full of praise for smiley Dan so we felt really lucky to have witnessed it. Being able to share the experience with the fans on our first ever live stream was a big bonus (I think we'll do it again, we'll work out something around the ads, sorry again folks!).

27. Monaco GP (It's all just down there and... don't think about it)

It's time for another jam packed episode of the Superlicense F1 Podcast. We run over time again, but in our defence we had to cover the passing of Sir Jack Brabham, Zach's birthday, and fantastic swag of listener predictions and we suggest that Hamilton and Rosberg calm the farm ahead of the next race in Canada.

Speaking of the next race, if you're the kind of person who reads show notes you're probably also the kind of person who might get a kick out of joining us for a live-stream of the recording. So, if the stars align check out twitter (see below) and we'll let you know that it's going ahead. We'll aim for something like 30 mins after the end of the race and we'll tweet you the link for what could be a once in a lifetime event... watching us record a LIVE EPISODE OF SUPERLICENSE!!!!

26. Spanish GP (People like me, I'm German, let me win a race!)

It's been three weeks, so welcome old and new to the Superlicense F1 Podcast. This week we'll rip through the Spanish Grand Prix, throw down a "Twitter Profile Pic Quiz" and give the Monaco Grand Prix more sizzle than a fire-walking pig.

25. Chinese GP (The Chequered Flub)

No one would blame you for saying "Bahrain was the best there ever will be, I'm done with F1" but lucky your humble hosts are sticking out for the long haul. Zach fulfils his promise to host as a podcast birthday present to Rod, the SuperQuiz takes a musical turn, we break down where Ricciardo's appeal at the International Tribunal went wrong and we final get the matter which of the modern F1 cars has the best dick nose.

24. Bahrain GP (Too hot, too deep, from out of nowhere)

We have no qualms about calling this race one of the very best ever. That's our excuse for rambling on for so long about it.

This is probably as good a place as any to explain what happened at the end of the recording this week. Rod and Zach were recording in different locations and let's just say the building that Zach was in had to be closed down and he was asked to leave by security. If Rod sounds like he's turning into a completely different person at the end it's because he was trying to fill in the gaps of what was missing. And it really IS his birthday, so get in touch!
